A Car

She looked one last time into the rear view mirror, not looking at the road, but at herself. "Good enough I guess." She traced along her eyebrow with her finger, searching for some sort of imperfection to give her a reason not to get out of the car. Right as soon as she was going to open the car door, her cell phone began to vibrate violently. "Hello?" she said, "Where are you?" "Coming, relax." She snapped her phone closed and placed it in her tiny hand purse.
"What took you so long?" She glanced around the room to see who else was there. "Traffic," she answered uninterested. She unknowingly ignored everything Gale had to say because her eye had caught something else, well, someone else. "Who is that?" she asked, cutting Gale off mid-sentence. "Him? That's Nathan. Why? You're here to focus on me, not him." She tended to tune Gale out a lot, due to her incessant nagging and whining. "Gale, I'm going to go talk to him. Relax, you're getting married. Be happy."
"Hello, have we met?" she opened, "I don't think so," he followed, "And you are?" She smiled slyly, "I'm Harper, and you?" He raised his glass, half full with red wine. "Nathan. Nice to meet you, Harper." She grabbed a glass from the nearby table, filled with wine. "Extreme pleasure to meet you, too, Nathan." She raised her eyebrows at him as she took a sip from her glass. They talked for the rest of the night, even when sitting down for the rehearsal dinner. Eventually, it was time for Harper to make her speech. "Sorry, Nat, I'll be right back." He slapped her butt slightly as she walked away which caused her to look back and return with a wink.
"Hello, everybody. I would like to thank you all for coming out tonight and tomorrow, of course. This isn't going to be a big speech like tomorrow, but I would just like to say how much Gale and Ronald mean to me. I've known them both since we were young, and I've never known them as anything but together. I love you guys, and thanks for letting me be a part of your wonderful lives. To the happy couple," Everybody raised their glass and cheered to the couple. Harper returned to her seat next to Nathan. "I'm kind of anxious to leave. Wanna join?" Nathan was caught off guard, "For being the bride's best friend, you want to leave so early?" She sipped the last drop from her wine glass, "We'll be quick."
Harper led Nathan out to her car parked on the corner of the darkly lit street. "This is it," she pointed out. "This is what?" Nathan asked, "The first place we're going to fuck," she answered. Harper pulled Nathan into the backseat of her car, unbuttoning his nicely pressed shirt while doing so. He ran his hand up her smooth leg finding the top of her undies. They ran their hands all over one another, wanting more. The windows of the car quickly steamed, covering up the outside world. Sooner than later, all clothes were on the floor of her car, which was being rocked back and forth. After a somewhat short period of time, both Harper and Nathan exited the car, hair awry and clothes quickly thrown on. "Thanks, Nate," Harper said followed by a kiss on the cheek. She got into the driver's seat of the car and closed the door. "See you tomorrow."
